You can also find me on Warhammer Alliance as froo - the origin of the nickname is a strange story, so I wont get into that :)

[edit] About Me

I'm from Perth in Western Australia - officially the most isolated city in the world!

I've been playing Games Workshop games for the last 14 years, my very first army was a Dark Elf army way back when. I actually found some of the miniatures from this a couple months back... The quality has definitely changed (for the better I might add)

I then started playing 2nd edition Warhammer 40,000 and instantly fell in love with the Orc/Ork race in all it's forms.

I've been collecting most of the GW game systems since then, and have a very large collection - My 40k Ork army alone totals over 15,000 points.

I started online gaming at the age of 15, when I was playing mud's on local BBS's, having spent some considerable time playing a specific one called MajorMud.

The people I met through that game eventually got me into EverQuest just before then Kunark expansion came out, and I've been hooked on MMO's ever since then.

Some of my most fond memories were playing EQ at uni (my home machine wasnt good enough to play it at the time) and spending all night playing it, in one of the computer labs.

I had spent so much time there with friends that the local pizza place learned exactly how to deliver pizza to that specific Computer lab. Good times.

[edit] MMO's I've played

Alright, These wont exactly be in order, but I'll give it a whirl.

  • EQ1 - I spent maybe 4-5 years playing this game exclusively, it was fantastic
  • Star Wars Galaxies - I tried it, didnt exactly like it.
  • Planetside - Great to beta test this.
  • Lineage - I wasnt a fan really.
  • EQ2 - I spent about 2 years playing this exclusively, Loved every aspect of it.
  • World of Warcraft - I enjoyed it, but it was a little 'too easy' I guess. I did love the PVP aspect of it though
  • Vanguard - Maybe again in a couple years when they finally finish it :)
