Details of the death system are still sketchy. The information herin may be inaccurate (even more than everything else!).

[edit] Fate Points

It is known that players will have a "currency" called Fate Points with which to buy resurrection after death. Fate points accumulate/regenerate over time. If you die and have no Fate Points to surrender, you will be inflicted with some kind of death penalty, sources suggest a time-based attribute penalty that will become increasingly severe with more deaths.

Slightly different information from this article:

For fans of WFRP there are plans for an implemented fate points system and insanity point system. No details on the insanity point
system were available at this time other than a confirmation of the existence and implementation. Fate points will be used to save
yourself from death and can be used in certain "movie moments", such as jumping across a giant ravine. One way of gaining fate
points is through "community quests".

[edit] Resurrection

When a player dies, there will be no experience loss, but there is a great possibility that other penalties will occur. After death has occured, you will mainly have two ways to be resurrected. 1. From certain spells/abilities, you will spawn at the spot you died. 2. To a designated spawn point such as a graveyard or a camp. Note; there will be no corpserunning / shadow running in WAR.
