Army

Many humanoid, intelligent races populate the world of Warhammer Online. Some are tribal, some are nomadic and some form great empires; some even constructing immense cities and embracing various forms of civilization.

When the Age of Reckoning dawns, a handful of these larger civilizations are drawn into a mighty conflict and these together form the armies that will be playable in WAR.

[edit] Major (playable) armies

The great conflict separates the major races into two distinct factions that wage war against each other, the forces of Order and the forces of Destruction. Your choice of army importantly influences which other armies you will be allied with, and also dictates what career options will be available to you.

[edit] The Forces of Order

• The Order of the Griffon, army of The Empire.
• The Oathbearers, army of the Dwarfs.
• The Shining Guard, army of the High Elves.

[edit] The Forces of Destruction

• The Raven Host, the army of Chaos.
• The Bloody Sun Boyz, army of the Greenskins.

The Greenskins consist of two separate playable races, the Orcs and the Goblins.

• House Uthorin, army of the Dark Elves.

Many other races populate the world, and it is yet unknown how great an impact they will have on WAR and its expansions. Of course, some of these races are hostile to either or both of the warring realms and as such can be found in the bestiary.
